Types of Type-Specific Rhinoplasty

CASE 1

Low Nose

If the bridge of the nose between the eyes is low or the nose is small, the overall three-dimensional effect of the face may be lacking. Low nose surgery considers the balance of the entire face and raises the bridge of the nose with prosthetics or minced autologous cartilage, and the tip of the nose with autologous cartilage to create a natural and three-dimensional line.

CASE 2

Beaked Nose

Due to excessive growth of the nasal bone and septal cartilage, the upper middle part of the bridge of the nose is high, making the bridge of the nose look low and the tip of the nose look relatively droopy. Depending on the individual cause and symptoms, osteotomy is performed to remove the protruding part of the bridge of the nose and smooth the line of the tip of the nose.

CASE 3

Bent Nose

Bent nose, where the bridge of the nose is not straight and is crooked to one side, is not only the bone of the bridge of the nose bent, but also the bone inside the nose is likely to be bent, which often accompanies problems such as nasal congestion or rhinitis. After analyzing the exact cause through 3D-CT, it is necessary to create a straight nose shape while considering the function of the nose.

Flat Nose

This is when the tip of the nose is blunt and wide compared to the width of the bridge of the nose and the nostrils are wide. Long Nose/Arrow-Shaped Nose

Short Nose (Upturned Nose)
